About Edsolve?

Starting his career as a serviceman in the Royal Air Force, training as a HR Specialist, Paul was responsible for various aspects of an employee journey in many different theatres, most notably in Afghanistan. 

​

After serving for around six years, Paul left the Armed Forces to join Serco in their newly created Schools Payroll team. Swiftly promoted after 3 months in HR, he took the reigns and led the HR Support and Payroll teams, providing services to an account of LEA maintained schools for Lincolnshire County Council. Paul was pivotal in the software implementation of the Unit4 Agresso system that was in use, alongside process creation and refinement, team management and leadership and aiding the setup and training of a call logging system and internal procedures for his team.

After an extremely busy tenure with Serco, Paul moved on to a hospitality led group as the HR, Finance and Operations Manager. Here he successfully implemented the use of various systems, processes and procedures at an infant start-up.

With his passion for Education still burning, Paul ventured back in to the sector and joined a successful software company in HR and Payroll Implementation, Training and Consultancy. It was here that he made a notable impact and successfully delivered many HR and Payroll projects in to Schools, MATs and Colleges across the UK, alongside refresher training and support to his customers.

After an acquisition by a larger EdTech business, Paul was heavily involved in the onboarding, system configuration and go-live of another large LEA Schools contract. He then moved in to Product Management where his excitement and passion for Education and Software continued. He was responsible for the planning and execution of the roadmap of a HR and Payroll product being sold in to the Education sector, which is still in-use by many clients today.
